Dear all,
2007 is almost coming to an end. There is only one last chance for you to attend the Toastmasters meeting, which will be on the 10th December. So if you have been busy for the whole year, for whatever reason (s) it might be, try to make it this time.
Here are some of the special reasons why you should not miss the coming meeting:
1. It has been themed "One Night In Bali" - If you find wearing too much, too formal and too proper and wanted a break, then this is the one. I leave it to your inmagination on what to wear, this time, ok?
2. We will be celebrating Christmas this time too. Instead of sending out greeting cards and sms to greet each other Merry Christmas, why not do it personally during the meeting?
3. For the first time ever, we are going to have a gifts exchange, as suggested by our President. So bring a gift of about RM20 to the meeting. No one is going to check the price tag, by the way!!
4. Most of all, dinner will be sponsored by our newest Competent Communicator Dr Joe Yap. He has promised to give his best and reminded me to inform all of you to invite your family members and friends to come and enjoy the food as well as the meeting / fellowship. You know he likes to do things differently, so come for that surprise too.
5. You are still looking for more reasons to make up your mind to attend the meeting? Well, what other clubs offer what Tawau Toastmasters Club could offer?
So come and join us this 10th December 2007, 7.15pm at Grace Inn Conference Hall. Dinner will be served before meeting commences.
By the way, Rosslin will be preparing the Programme Elements this time, so please contact her for your roles and assignments, if you have not done so, ok?
